Following a 13 year stretch as European Sales Manager for Huck®, Steve Turner formed his own company in 1995 and called it European Rivet Supplies (ERS).

The intention was to develop a range of highly competitive fastening systems. Amongst the range was the ‘Riv-bolt’ system. In order to compete with already successful Industry Standard fasteners and tooling, the Riv-bolt required 4 years of technical development, plant machinery investment and independent testing. Throughout the summer of 1999 the product won approval and ERS began to supply Rail Track and Car Builders throughout Europe. Since then the company has never looked back and now supplies the system to companies worldwide.
